Who is this Guy? And what’s with the Dog?

Who am I? That’s a pretty deep question, and we are only starting to get to know each other.

What I can tell you is what I’ve been doing and what I believe. For starters, I am a career marketer, advertiser, and brand builder who has worked for the world’s pre-eminent brands. I’ve partnered with brands like Microsoft, Intel, Dell, Autodesk, LendingTree, and Charles Schwab to build award-winning marketing that put their brands in motion to drive outsized revenue growth and positive business outcomes. In one case, the Harvard Business Review even did a case study on us (“Talk To Chuck”, Charles Shwab).

Throughout all my work, I have held fast to one fundamental, undeniable truth: BRAND LOVE DRIVE BUSINESS RESULTS. If a company truly wants to see outsized revenue growth, it must first and foremost build a brand worthy of customer loyalty. A customer must BELIEVE in you before they will BUY from you. Marketing that starts from a place of brand truth will always outperform - in terms of engagement, conversion, and ROI - marketing that is not grounded in a strong idea of the brand. Build a brand your employees can be proud of and your customers see themselves in, and the business will take care of itself. Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Oh - and the dog? That’s Daisy. She’s the real boss and makes sure I stay focused. Unless it’s “walk time” - then all bets are off.
